Ungerska ambassaden bjuder in till firande av Ungerska nationaldagen
Ungerska ambassaden bjuder på musik av stråkkvartett och mottagning efter konserten. Varmt välkommen att dela dagen med oss.
Ravinens grundare Gustav Kraitz, född Gusztav Istvan Kraitz i Diósgyőr i Miskolc i Ungern 1926 flydde Ungern 1956 och kom så småningom till Sverige. I Båstad arbetade han och hustrun Ulla Kraitz oförtröttligt sedan 1990-talet för etablerandet av en konsthall på Bjärehalvön, och 2021 öppnade Ravinen intill Norrvikens Trädgårdar.
I firandet bjuds vi in till ett tal av Ungerns ambassadör Péter Palóczi, följt av en ca 45 minuter lång konsert med en stråkkvartett ur orkestern Anima Musicae. Läs mer om gruppen nedan.
Anima Musicae - the soul of music.
The orchestra, which started as a creative string workshop, is now a guest of prestigious concert halls and festivals in Europe, and is a defining chamber ensemble in Hungary.
The Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra, founded in 2010, has won several international competitions and domestic awards, and is a regular performer at high-class concert venues in Hungary and Europe. The Junior Prima and Artisjus award-winning ensemble has performed on the stages of the Vienna Musikverein, the Berlin Philharmonie, and the Leipzig Gewandhaus, among others, but has had its own concert series at the Liszt Academy for years. It is a regular guest at national and international festivals and has been the resident orchestra of the Festival Academy Budapest and the Saint Gellért Festival for several years. Several of its recordings have been released by Hungaroton, but its playing has also been recorded by NAXOS, Toccata Classics (UK) and Ongaku Records (USA). Contemporary music also occupies a prominent place in its wide repertoire, ranging from Baroque to 20th-century works: so far it has performed nearly 80 works dedicated to it. The Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra also considers the education of young people in classical music to be its mission: independently and jointly organized with the Filharmonia Hungary, it brings live classical music to thousands of children every year nationwide. In 2026, Hungarian Radio’s Bartók Radio honored the ensemble with a music award in the "Orchestra of the Year" category.
Members of the Anima Musicae String Orchestra also regularly perform in smaller formations, such as string quartets.
