Sportlov workshop

On Tuesday 17 February there is a Sportlov workshop at RAVINEN! At 10.00–12.00 we welcome everyone between 6 and 9 years old and at 14.00–16.00 we welcome everyone between 10 and 13 years old.

We start by looking at the exhibition “ROOTED – The Edstrand Foundation 75 Years”, which shows artworks by 20 artists who have all been awarded the Edstrandska stiftelsen’s scholarship, one of Sweden’s largest art scholarships. We then move on to our creative workshop where we test needle felting. Needle felting is a way of sculpting in wool with the help of a needle. The felting needle has small barbs that make the wool felt together when you stick the needle into the wool. The technology means that you do not need to use soap and water as in traditional felting.

RAVINEN’s pedagogue meets the children in the entrance at 10.00 or 14.00.

The workshop is for free but pre-registration is mandatory. The registration with the child’s name, desired day and phone number for an adult is sent to ad@ravinenkultur.se. First come first served!
