Hungarian music weekend: Folk music!

In a unique collaboration with the Hungarian Embassy and the Kraitz family, we are proud to present no less than two concerts with a thoroughly Hungarian theme.

In this concert we meet “The Hungarian folk quartet”, a group of incredible folk musicians from the Tibor Pikéthy Academy of Music in Vác and from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. During the weekend you can both listen to fantastic music and eat good Hungarian food in our bistro. The Hungarian folk quartet was created within the framework of the Talentum Hungaricum program and is made up of students from the Tibor Pikéthy Conservatory of Music in Vác and the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. The main goal of the ensemble is to transmit the joy of music and to introduce the treasures of Hungarian folk songs. Their mission is to involve as many people as possible in the world of folk music and to convey to them the essence of Hungarian culture and traditions. The Kalotaszeg melodies they chose are not just music, but they offer a real journey into the past and soul of the Hungarian people.

The members of the quartet: Flóra Bertalan (song), József Gyulai (violin), Zaránd Varga (viola), Örs Tuba (bass)
