Family Sunday

Family Sunday is back! Discover the exhibition “Palace Garden – Contemporary Swedish Glass Art” and then continue to our creative workshop:

10/11, at 10–12, Abstract sculptures in clay

With inspiration from Åsa Jungnelius’ sculpture “Begär”, we investigate how clay can go from being a material to a sculpture that is exciting to look at.

24/11, at 10–12, Paint with gold

We look a little extra at Markus Åkesson’s glass sculptures “Alchemy”, which are painted with gold, and then move on to the creative workshop to paint with gold paint and gold glitter.

8/12, at 10–12, Plato’s figures

There are five three-dimensional figures consisting only of identical regular polygons. These are called “Plato’s figures” and Johan Röing has created two of them out of glass and wood. Can we build all five figures out of straws and string? (Wouldn’t it have been nice to dress the Christmas tree with Plato’s figures this year???)

5/1, at 10–12, Robot portraits in collage technique

We draw inspiration from Bertil Vallien’s expressive sculptures “Watcher” and “Kafka” and create robot portraits from paper, cardboard, string, beans and a variety of other materials.
