Sound and light show: Traces of Light

Traces of Light

Can we perceive light as music?

Duo Moneeo’s latest project is about how we experience sound with all our senses and how our brain is plastic and constantly shapes itself to adapt the right sense for the specific moment. We don’t just use our ears when we listen. In some situations, sight or touch are better receivers for sound, and our brains don’t really care what path the sound takes to reach our perceived hearing. Neuroplasticity is about how our brain continuously adapts and is shaped, for the reality we live in, and how it is shaped to be able to take in the information that is current at the moment. Traces of Light is Moneeo’s exploration of creating music for the eyes, synchronizing the two senses sight and hearing. An attempt to blur the line between the two senses. Can you create music for your eyes?
